It’s been years.
Honestly, I was going to abandon everything related to my blog. But, I’ve decided I’m going to try to come back to it.
Everything’s going to be revamped. Not sure if it’s going to be what it was. I wasn’t even sure what it was tbh. But, there’s been a lot of changes in the last three years since I’ve used this, especially to myself. And I want that to be reflected.
I’ll still have my tastes, but there will probably be more words as well. At the start of this, I was in undergraduate, then graduate school, and now I’ve been graduated for two years and attempting to merge into that so-called “adult life.” It’s a rough journey, but I’ve managed to somehow keep going and I think it’s good if I have this here as one of my outlets.
So for those that are still there and willing to be there, bear with me

It’s been one week since Oscar and I posted our story online.
We wanted to give a nice full update from our last update posted on May 8, 2015. For those who had not seen our last post update [ x ] This post gives a good idea of how we handled the first wave of support from you all. As well as out plans for the immediate future within the next two weeks.
This update #2 comes with information about a terrible fight we experienced the night of May 8. We were attack by Oscar’s mother. You can find more information on our gofundme. Also included in this new update is information about us responding to the city about our eviction and such.

Myself [x] and my partner Oscar [x] (together we run We Have the Munchies, our food and recipe blog [x] ) are homeless and are on our last straw where we are coming to you guys on our knees begging.
I am going to give you the TLDR version of our gofundme page.
I am a 1st generation american born chilena/ecuatoriana and Oscar is a 2nd generation Cuban-American who are both struggling with our own abusive households (I myself have been abused by my parents and Oscar has been physically attacked by his step father for defending his mother) and we are now threatened with eviction which will happen in 4 days time. (I am writing this on May 7, 2015). Oscar has been disabled by a car accident that happened to him a few months ago and is still in his recover process.
We are both hardworking artist who have known each other since early high school and figures are in our own communities. I am a recent graduate from the University of Florida and Oscar is a self-employed web programmer and social media content creator. I make about 120$ a week and he makes on a good week 80-90$. We are without support from people directly related to us and need anything we can get.
